Start My Assisted Registration Am I Required to Register?

rtri.pt is a private registration-support service operated by Audiqcer, Lda. It is not the official register. The RTRI operates under the Assembleia da República (Portuguese Parliament) and registration is public and free of charge (Articles 4 and 13 of Law No. 5-A/2026).

Service catalogue

Enrolment in the official register costs nothing (Article 13(1) of Law No. 5-A/2026). Clients engage us for the work around it — the analysis, the file and the deadlines. Each service links to its full technical sheet, currently available in Portuguese.

Applicability & Category Check (detailed sheet in Portuguese)

The starting point when the obligation is not obvious. We analyse your activity against the legal definition of legitimate interest representation and deliver a reasoned opinion on whether your organisation must enrol in the RTRI (Article 13(2)) and under which of the five categories of Article 13(3) — including whether you qualify for automatic ex officio enrolment as an entity with a constitutional or legal right of consultation (Article 4(2)). The conclusion sets out the duties attached to your position and the recommended next step, so decisions are taken on solid ground rather than assumption.

Assisted RTRI Registration Core (detailed sheet in Portuguese)

Our core service, covering the process end to end. We confirm the applicable category, collect and validate every element required by Article 5(1) — identification, clients and interests represented, corporate bodies and share capital, annual income and public or EU support — build the supporting dossier and accompany the submission of the application. Priority handling is given to professional third-party representatives, who must register within 60 days of the RTRI's start of operation (Article 19(2)). One engagement takes you from uncertainty to a completed, defensible enrolment.

Registration Dossier Preparation (detailed sheet in Portuguese)

Designed for organisations that intend to submit the application themselves but want the file prepared to a professional standard. We map each declaration required by Article 5(1) to its supporting evidence, flag gaps and inconsistencies before they become problems, and hand over an organised registration dossier ready for submission. Because representatives are responsible for the accuracy and updating of the registered content (Article 5(5)), the dossier is built to be defensible long after the enrolment itself — every declared fact traceable to a document.

Register Maintenance & Updates (detailed sheet in Portuguese)

Enrolment is where the ongoing duties begin. Any change to the registered information must be reflected in the RTRI within 30 days (Article 5(4)) — the 30-day duty this service exists to keep. We maintain a calendar of registrable events for your organisation, prepare and lodge each update, and keep the evidence file that demonstrates continued compliance (Article 5(5)), including the identification duties in contacts with public entities (Article 7(1)(e)). A retainer that turns a recurring legal risk into routine administration.

Registration Toolkit (detailed sheet in Portuguese)

A self-service package for teams that prefer to handle the registration autonomously. It contains a field-by-field checklist of the mandatory information under Article 5(1), document templates for the declarations and supporting records, and a step-by-step guide through the five stages of the process, from the applicability check to post-enrolment maintenance. The most economical way to prepare a sound application — and if the file turns out to be more demanding than expected, the toolkit's cost can be credited towards an assisted registration engagement.
